OCD and Anxiety
OCD can be sneaky, distorting our thoughts in ways that feel incredibly real. It can pretend to be your friend, telling you it’s keeping you safe while manipulating you into experiencing more anxiety, feeling more ashamed, and spending more time doing compulsions.
Without an idea of what OCD’s lies can look like, they might be difficult to spot. But once you’re able to identify when OCD is at work, and realize that you don’t have to believe its lies, you gain the power to respond differently
